For our division Birkenstock 1774, at our location in Paris we are looking for a Product design intern (f/m/d) The candidate will support the Paris branch in all the activities related to collaborations and the 1774 collection. YOUR TASKS: Design creation: - Supports in the execution of creative (hand-drawings) and technical drawings necessary for prototyping / packaging - Applies photoshop and illustrator Adobe Creative Suite to illustrate ideas / seasonal inspirations - Contributes to the creation of mood boards as well as the production of line sheets (color-up) Collection development: - Contributes to the collection, product, fabrics and materials research - Assists in developing a seasonal color chart proposal Supports in the management of prototypes and sample style adjustments; - Layouts product information hand over documents Presentations / 1774 collection: - Collaborates in the organization and staging of photo shoots; - Collaborates with stylists and the Creative Lead to create looks according to the seasonal moods
PROFILE - Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Material Design or similar; - Excellent at drawing, sketching, and painting skills; - IT abilities and professional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop); - Fluent English, both spoken and written (the knowledge of a third language – French, Italian, Portuguese or German is considered a plus); - Creative, solution driven, attention to the details, precision, team working attitude and flexibility – strong understanding for innovative and novel design.
