We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Intern Embroidery Assistant Designer (W/M) for a 6-month, on-site internship in Paris, starting in September 2026. Designed for creative profiles eager to discover high-end embroidery, this role requires an organized and proactive individual. While supporting creative tasks, you will handle significant operational and daily studio needs. Key Responsibilities: Creative Support: Assist with drawings and artworks; manage the documentation and organization of swatches; help create small samples when needed. Operations & Logistics: Sort and maintain archives; conduct internet research; handle material stock and errands/deliveries across Paris. Admin & Coordination: Assist with shipments, couriers, and invoices to ensure a seamless workflow. Facilitate daily communication between Paris and our teams in Rome and Mumbai. What You Will Learn: After 6 months, you will have gained the professional foundation needed for a career in fashion: A to Z Development: How embroidery collections are structured from concept to final piece. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of materials and various hand-embroidery techniques. Production Oversight: Mastering the "behind-the-scenes" follow-up—an essential skill for any creative entering a major Fashion House. Heritage & Exposure: Discovery of Indian embroidery culture and assisting the designer during meetings within the Maisons de Couture.
Education: Degree in Fashion, Textiles, or Arts with a strong desire to learn both the technical and business sides of embroidery. Mindset: A proactive "self-starter" with a professional attitude and strong initiative. Technical Skills: High proficiency in Excel and Photoshop is essential. Familiarity with Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and .dxf files is a significant plus. Languages & Experience: Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus). Ideally, a first experience in a fashion brand or embroidery workshop.
