As a Footwear Design Assistant at Tom Ford, you will be in charge of ensuring the smooth flow of the creative process by working closely with our talented design and creative team. This is an exciting role that offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-end fashion environment. This position is ideal for someone passionate about Footwear design, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Footwear Design Director, you will be : • Assisting in the material, colour and trim research with a strong sense of the footwear market • Preparing trend analysis and participating to vintage shoppings / rentals • Producing initial sketches, both hand-drawn and digital according to the design brief • Preparing the research boards, sketches and collection presentations for design reviews, and keeping them up-to-date with design changes throughout the season • Attending fittings and collaborating with the Product Development and Merchandising teams to ensure a smooth flow of information between the design and product teams • Participating to Lookbooks photoshoots and Show preparations
Requirements : • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office. • Strong understanding of Footwear design principles and aesthetics. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and presentation abilities • Fluent in French and English, Italian is a plus To Succeed in This Role: You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly, service-oriented personality. Strong multitasking and stress-management skills are essential, along with the ability to handle emergencies smoothly. Flexibility to work shifts and occasional weekends is a plus.
