Cosmogony

Cosmogony is an allegory of desire, the desire that I glimpse as an exalting and overflowing intensity, as a building impulse. Nevertheless, even our relationship to desire is normalized, inevitably culturally determined. Imprisoned into the restricted space which is imposed by a thought of the standard and the morality. It is, in many aspects, supposed fatal and improper.

But how to deliver it from this thought of the desire as a wound to heal or a threatening, formidable strength of intemperance to stop? During my approach, I attempt to clear up a passage, to lighten, to open the road of effusion for a desire too constraigned. I would like to deconstruct each of the resistances making obstruction, for me; to fit out a way for it, a breakthrough by which it can flow to spread its constructive dimension. So emancipated, desire is not more justified by a lack than it is motivated by any object. To this dark object of desire I want to substitute an opening, a perspective. Desire does not fold any more on the individual and its trauma, it becomes a tension towards a whole, towards a construction of the desiring subject. It is a World-Desire. The World-Desire embraces and feeds itself on the extent of the existing. It is shaped by the reality and prolonges it. Under its impulse, it meets aesthetic regions and adapts semantic universes among the most ill-assorted, the most cosmopolitans and the most colorful ones. Making this, it opens to disproportionates fields of investigation and exploration. The ambition of my wrk is to go through certains of their horizons.
