A joint post-diploma
Under the authority of the city of Paris, a one-year course at the level of Masters 2, for new DSAA graduate students of Boulle, Duperré and Estienne schools has been in place since September 2011. This ambitious year with its vocational qualification aspect, a forerunner to the future Vocational Masters degree, encourages students to develop an innovative research project and acquire expertise in the field of Design in close collaboration with the professional context.
A tri-polar structure
The academic year is punctuated by different periods of research around the student’s project and training in the professional world: three workshops lead by one of the partner schools, 24 weeks of internship, a seminar and a communication project (virtual gallery, an exhibition, etc.)
The personal project presented on acceptation on the course is developed continually in the workshops and the internship and is accompanied by cross-tutoring. The project announced must reflect a prospective research undertaking that can involve partnerships with companies or with institutions or with any form of cross-sector experience made possible by the richness of this tri-polar structure.
